THE JEWISH MUSEUM VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
Volunteers at The Jewish Museum are a dedicated group of individuals representing a wide range of ages and interest. Volunteers are involved in almost every area of The JM\'s activities. As the volunteers reach out to contribute time and energy working in a museum that is dedicated to presenting, as well as preserving, the remarkable scope and diversity of Jewish history and culture, they also enrich their lives developing new skills and interests.
Volunteers work in many program departments including fine arts, judaica, education, shop, membership, visitors services and public programs.
A 40 week per year time commitment is usually required. Volunteers receive numerous benefits including special tours of all JM exhibitions. A volunteer application form will be forwarded to all applicants upon request. References will be requested and a personal interview set up upon receipt.
