Pastorino di Giovan Michele de\' Pastorini

FB77' ; $object_summary = 'During the Renaissance, as they sought to emulate the Romans of antiquity, rulers and church officials, members of the lesser nobility and the bourgeoisie commissioned portrait medals. Typical of such a medal, this idealized likeness of Grazia Nasi, a young woman from a prominent family, is the earliest known portrait medal with a Jewish subject and a Hebrew inscription.

At left is her name in Hebrew characters, and at right is a Latin inscription stating her age (eighteen). '; ?>
