1993-116 ' ; $object_summary = 'This photograph, taken from the window of Leipzig\'s mother-in-law\'s apartment on Prospect Place, is part of a series produced by Arthur Leipzig between 1943 and 1953 titled "Children\'s Games." The series is based on the 16th century Flemish painting of the same title by Pieter Brueghel the Elder. Born in New York in 1918, Leipzig studied with Paul Strand at the Photo League; Edward Steichen included his work in the Family of Man at the Museum of Modern Art in 1955. '; ?>
